The Simple Things In Life
All preconceived notions of what I want in a man are gone. Let's be honest I have no idea. There may be someone I like, someone I want, but they may not necessarily be the kind of person that is best for me. I've met a kid who met all of the criteria on my list and guess what... he was an idiot. I've dated someone who met all the physical attributes of what I wanted and he was an ass hole. I've discovered that I don't care about body type, I don't care about political views, I don't care about taste in music, and I don't care what ethnicity you are. I only care about two things... being a follower of Christ and showing love to those around you. Nothing is going to melt my heart faster than a man playing with a child, being kind to the waiter and seeing them as a person and not a servant, seeing someone who is troubled and spending time to talk to them, seeking out the person with no friends and befriending them, going out of their way to say hi, going out of their way to spend time with someone, talking to someone they don't normally talk to and asking them how their weekend was and all together just smiling. There is no such thing as the perfect man. There is no such thing as the perfect anyone. I can make lists of attributes, I can make a list of possible physical characteristics, but at the end of the day, the person for me is the one who can show love to the ones around them.
