Dear Mom and Dad

At the request of my mother, I will do one more of the 30 days 30 blog posts...

Dear Mom and Dad,
You are amazing and I love you very much. Because of you I am who I am today. You taught me to be an individual and that I should never settle in my life for second best to what I really want. You taught me that in life I should be responsible while still being able to enjoy it. Because of you I'm the strong, independent woman, who knows what she wants in her life, and I I'm not willing to settle for anything less. I love you guys so much.

Dad- You have got to be one of the biggest inspirations to me. You're life isn't easy and there are probably more hard times on the horizon, but you deal with the problems head on and you get through them. You fight. You don't just sit and let the bad overcome and take over your life. You're an amazing person and I love and respect you both as a father and as a man.

Mom- I love you so much. You have always been the one to go to when I had problems. You have the encouraging word, the helpful advice, or the ability to just listen.My favorite memory I have of us, is Christmas Eve, Me, Telyse and Myshele would make our nest out of all the pillows, stuffed animals, and blankets we had. You would come in, sit between us and read us a Christmas book, with our heads in your lap, while you would stroke our heads. We always thought that we wouldn't be able to sleep because of the excitement of Christmas morning, but you would come in and with your soothing voice and the stroke of your hand, we would all go out like a light.

I love you guys very much! And I just want to say how grateful I am for everything you two have done for us. You've raised 3 very good kids, that people in better situations wouldn't have been able to do. You are AMAZING PARENTS... and don't ever forget it.
