So there are a lot of things I don't understand in life. But there is just one thing, above all else that just makes me go "WTF!!!" Can anyone guess what it is? I'll give you some hints. It has the body and tail of a beaver, the bill of a duck, webbed feet, has fir and is considered a mammal, yet it lays eggs, and it has venomous claws....
Yep you guessed it! It's the duck billed platypus. I mean honestly! I can cope with being unable to understand certain things; like infinity, predestination, quantum mechanics, etc. But the duck billed platypus? Really? I just want to know one thing? WHY!? Did God just get bored with all the cute critters He made and go..."hmmm.... I think part beaver part duck would be freaking sweet! Done and done!"
God has a sense of humor. I'm sure he gets a good laugh whenever, someone much like myself, randomly dedicates an entire blog post to "Why the duck billed platypus?" When I get to heaven, after I weep, rejoice, and fall to my knees before my savior, I'm pretty sure I'm going to get up, wipe away my tears, and go "Okay... seriously, a duck billed Platypus?" Because I'm pretty sure death is the only way that I will ever understand that creature.
