The Simple Things In Life
All preconceived notions of what I want in a man are gone. Let's be honest I have no idea. There may be someone I like, someone I want, but they may not necessarily be the kind of person that is best for me. I've met a kid who met all of the criteria on my list and guess what... he was an idiot. I've dated someone who met all the physical attributes of what I wanted and he was an ass hole. I've discovered that I don't care about body type, I don't care about political views, I don't care about taste in music, and I don't care what ethnicity you are. I only care about two things... being a follower of Christ and showing love to those around you. Nothing is going to melt my heart faster than a man playing with a child, being kind to the waiter and seeing them as a person and not a servant, seeing someone who is troubled and spending time to talk to them, seeking out the person with no friends and befriending them, going out of their way to say hi, going out of their way to spend time with someone, talking to someone they don't normally talk to and asking them how their weekend was and all together just smiling. There is no such thing as the perfect man. There is no such thing as the perfect anyone. I can make lists of attributes, I can make a list of possible physical characteristics, but at the end of the day, the person for me is the one who can show love to the ones around them.
Beach and the Bible
I honestly do not believe there is anything quite like sitting in Gods creation, reading God's word, having coffee and listening... It's completely amazing. I never feel quite as close to God as I do when I'm in His word and in His creation. Things seem so much simpler and answers are so much more clear.

The Relationship Whisperer.
I believe this is the sign written on my forehead, stuck to my back, hovering over my head and hung on my door. It can't be seen by me, however it's like a freaking neon light flashing to those who are in need. It amazes me that this girl who has had one boyfriend in her entire life, that's me, and who has done nothing to warrant any sort of relationship wisdom, has become the sol provider of said wisdom to friends, some family, and now the girls in my dorm. Yes. I am the relationship whisperer. Come to me all who are stupid and cannot deal with this shit and I will give you sense. Want to know what the number one advice I give people is? HONESTY AND COMMUNICATION. These are not two concepts that are hard to grasp. I mean really. You don't like someone? Don't date them. You do like someone... don't date someone else unless you know without a shadow of a doubt that you have no future, you don't know how to tell someone you like them? Let me help you "I LIKE YOU" I know it's hard to say those particular words in that particular order, but my goodness, it would put you're mind at ease! DO NOT MISUNDERSTAND ME. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HELPING ALL OF YOU PEOPLE WHO ARE APPLICABLE TO THIS POST. I DO. YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING AND I LOVE EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU. But I mean, I can't be the only one who finds it ironic that the single girl, with a weeks worth of experience, is the one giving you advice... I mean come on... it's kind of funny! :D

In or Out?
Are you in or out? Seriously. I don't know for sure. Because I take a look at college and I see a bunch of people who are "Christians" who go around getting drunk, high, swearing ALL over the place, and offering sexual favors around campus. Or if not "offering" them, making sure people know they're "open for business." I can understand mistakes, I can understand having a drink, or having a smoke, or whatever else.I can't handle thinking it's okay. I can't handle justification. I can't handle you only believing in some aspects of "Christianity" and disregarding those that don't suit your desires. Am I saying be a bore? No. Am I saying that you should be fake and perfect? No. But if you are a "Christian" Like you claim to be, then a desire to behave in such a manner that befits a "Christian" follows. Will you still make mistakes? Yes. Will you go to hell for those mistakes? NO! But seriously. If you don't "practice what you preach" you don't really believe it, and you are the stereotypical hypocritical Christian, that this society deems all of us to be. You're making us look bad. Knock it off! Now if you're not a Christian doing these things, have at it. I'm not going to judge you by my beliefs. That's hardly fair if you don't believe them. But if you claim to believe what I believe but don't behave in that manner... than knock it off! Either say what you REALLY believe, or behave! You people frustrate me!

Emily... Don't Hate Me.
I'm sorry! I tried. I got way too bored! And honestly I miss talking to my people on Facebook! I am cutting back. Not being on 24/7. But it's how I stay in contact with all of you guys from Colorado, my family, my church posting updates and important info on activities, as well as my Bible group. :( I'm not worthy and I'm just replacing Facebook time, with YouTube time, which kind of defeats the purpose. I Love you and think what you are doing is great! Stay Strong! I WILL CUT BACK! I'M SO SORRY!
Harder than I thought
So this is harder than I thought. I get bored an immediately try to type in Facebook, but then I catch myself. This is going to be a long two months. Lol

Goodbye Facebook.
As of now, (actually a few minutes ago, but I just got back on to offer my explanations) I have given up Facebook until January 1. Here are my reasons.
1. I have spent way too much time on Facebook instead of developing REAL relationships with people. I want to know who would still be my friend, remember my birthday, talk to me, etc. if I were never logged on. It has gotten to the point where I actually have categories of "Real" friends and "Facebook" friends. I need to develop REAL relationships.
2. There is no reason that I need to know everything everyone does 24 hours a day. And I don't need to share what I'm doing 24 hours a day.
3. It's a fast. I'm giving up my time on Facebook and replacing it with a more God time. I could be so much more productive if I didn't spend so much time on this website.
I know a lot of you don't think I can do this. And it just goes to show you that if not even my family thinks I can give up Facebook, than it's a problem. So you guys know how to reach me. Phone, E-mail, or follow this blog.
