Verse:
"In all these we have full victory through God who showed his love for us."
-Romans 8:37
Lesson:
When he says we're forgiven
let's unload the guilt.
When he says we're valuable
let's believe him.
When he say we're provided for
let's stop worrying.
My Thoughts:
Why don't we take God at his word? He's not going to lie to us... nor is he going to turn His back on us. Why is it, when God says no sin is unforgivable, the hardest place to find forgiveness is with ourselves?
Why when God sees us as valuable, do we see ourselves as worthless and unworthy?
And why don't we trust in Gods ability to provide for us?
What kind of arrogance must we have to believe our judgement is better than Gods? The One who SPOKE the world into existence? the One who can hold the ENTIRE Universe in the palm of his HAND! Where do we get the arrogance to count ourselves as worthless, unforgivable, human beings? When we do this, we are insulting God because He loves us, He created us in HIS image, and He has a perfect plan for our lives.
